Does any one know if a water pump can be installed on a Yanmar 1600. I know it is a thermosiphon system but in my climate I need the extra water flow a water pump will supply.

Maybe nobody here has experience doing that. I'll take a stab at providing an uninformed answer. You have to get the pump the right size so it doesn't cavitate or move so much water that it causes erosion. Don't forget the thermostat. ....

I have been too busy to get on this sight for quite a while. One can be installed on a YM1700. No one has ever asked my about a YM1600. I think it probably can be installed. I can supply the parts to do it. ....
